Facilities

Main Hall - can be booked for musical, dramatic and ‘active’ events. It is also a good venue for markets and sales. It is perfect for the type of event which needs kitchen facilities, such as ceilidhs and parties.

Regular User Groups: Indoor Bowls, Country Dancing (in the winter months) and Zumba use this space each week. West Coast Arts, several markets and musical events hire the hall and the Hall committee organizes bi-yearly book sales.

 

Annexe - is mostly used for meetings, lectures, play groups, children’s activities and ‘active’ events which do not require a large space. It can seat about 60 people and there is a pull-down screen if slide show presentations are to be shown.

Regular User Groups: the RC Church, Pilates, the Youth Theatre and Physiotherapy are weekly users. Also the Gairloch Community Council and Two Lochs Radio hold meetings in the Annexe.

 

Celt Room - is a small room off the kitchen and the main hall and is perfect for small meetings or for events which also require the use of the kitchen.

Regular User Groups: this room has fewer regular users and is often used for soup lunches and for meetings which do not need a large space.

 

Kitchen - this has been completely refurbished and contains a large frig, a micro-wave, a large range with two ovens, an urn, a commercial dishwasher and lots of cupboard space containing cutlery, crockery and other domestic items. There is a hatch which can be closed between the kitchen and the main hall.

HIRE CHARGES

Charges are flexible depending on your status and requirements.

 

For example if you are a local interest group or a charity the prices per hour are as follows:

Main Hall  £8.00

Annexe  £7.00

Celt Room £6.00

 

Kitchen £10 (flat rate, no matter how many hours)

 

Commercial lettings are slightly higher. Even to hire the Main Hall and kitchen for the whole evening it only costs £160 for the event.
