Gairloch Community Hall

At the heart of the Community

Under one Roof

The community has raised a fantastic £18,000 from fund raising events and donations. with more events to follow.

We have heard from Awards for All Lottery funding that they have okayed our application. Each red tile represents £1,500 raised.  When the roof is completely red we will have raised the total needed £150,000

Without the HALL there could be no Den Youth Café.

Without the HALL where would the Gairloch & District Times be published?

Without the HALL where might you give blood or have your eyes tested?

Without the HALL where would the local High School pupils take their exams?

Without the HALL many local organisations would have to find alternative venues or cease to function.

Without the HALL certain activities might stop such as Indoor Bowls, Country Dancing, Zumba and other fitness activities.

Without the HALL we would lose a vital local community facility.

What's Needed?

Our project Keeping Everything Under One Roof, which aims to convert the attic room into a meeting room for the Scouts and repair and replace the roof making it ready for solar panel installation to make the hall more sustainable for the long term – this will cost in the region of £100,000.

Funding bodies will expect us to raise a substantial amount of this if they are going to support us.

We have started to create a separate fund and so far have raised £2,500 – a good start!
